Original Art For Sale
FALASTIN is a collection of ongoing work that is deeply personal. It has been a way for me to sit with, experience, and transform my grief over the continued losses in my family, and the ongoing destruction of the Palestinian people and their land. These paintings contain prayers, symbols, and rivers of tears. Art is a political act and grieving is an act of resistance. Both are necessary as a way to go beyond the opinions and arguments that keep us locked in our current paradigm. It is an illusion that we are separate, and a delusion that inflicting harm towards other living beings (animal, plant and human) is not, in fact, inflicting harm on ourselves.
